CPG Corporation, a subsidiary of Downer EDI Consulting, has been designing buildings and infrastructure for more than a century and has played a key role in developing the physical infrastructure of modern Singapore. Consulting’s diverse and award-winning project portfolio includes the design and construction management of water infrastructure, airports, schools, hospitals and healthcare facilities, roads, bridges, correctional facilities, museums and court buildings throughout the Asia Pacific region.

Highlights

In January 2009, Coomes Consulting Group and New Zealand based Duffill Watts Ltd merged and were subsequently rebranded in May 2009 to CPG Australia and CPG New Zealand, leveraging on the excellent brand equity that CPG Corporation has built up over years in the Asia Pacific region.

New Geographic Areas

The Consulting division continued to grow its geographic footprint with new contracts secured in Brazil, South Africa and Inner Mongolia.

Synergy Realisation

  • CPG Consultants and Downer EDI Works in Singapore continue to work collaboratively on a number of major projects including:
    • Design and build part of the new Formula One race track in Singapore
    • Contracts for civil work with Singapore Government’s Land Transport Authority involving works to widen congested parts of the existing Central Expressway.
  • Downer EDI Engineering and CPG New Zealand are working together to provide engineering project management support to enhance project delivery on the upgrade of electronic traffic management systems in Wellington for the New Zealand Transport Agency.
